A globe valve refers to a valve where the closure (disc) is driven by a stem and moves vertically along the center axis of the seat. It is primarily used in pipelines to connect or interrupt the flow of media within the pipeline but cannot be used for throttling purposes.

Basic Structure of Rubber-Lined Globe Valves

1. Plastic-lined J41 straight-through, J45 straight-through, and J44 angle globe valves feature compact design, smooth operation, strong corrosion resistance, and short stroke (typically 1/4 nominal bore diameter). They are widely used in petroleum, chemical, and other pipeline systems for media isolation. However, plastic-lined globe valves must never be used for flow regulation to prevent erosion damage to the sealing surface caused by high-velocity media flow at the throttling point.

2. The valve disc and stem are designed as an integrated structure to prevent internal components from being forced out of the valve body due to pipeline pressure fluctuations. This compact design ensures safe operation.

Operating Temperatures: ≤85°C, ≤100°C, ≤120°C (depending on lining material)
