Working Principle of Electrically Controlled Hydraulic Control Valves
When water enters the valve from the inlet, it flows through the needle valve into the main valve control chamber. When the solenoid pilot valve opens, water in the control chamber flows out through the solenoid pilot valve and ball valve. Since the ball valve opening is larger than the needle valve opening, the pressure in the main valve control chamber remains low, keeping the main valve fully open.
When the solenoid pilot valve closes, water in the main valve control chamber cannot flow out. Pressure builds up in the control chamber, pushing the diaphragm to close the main valve.
